Corinna Dafoe, Office Manager
Corinna Dafoe joined Rockmount Financial as Office Manager / Executive Assistant in August 2013. She assists with organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures and maintains all ongoing Rockmount interests for Rockmount. As a brief Synopsis of her professional experience skills is 25 years as Executive/ Personal Assistant with expertise in Marketing with an Advanced Selling Skills background. Corinna holds a Business Administration Marketing Management Degree and an Accounting Certificate.
Prior to becoming a employee with Rockmount, Corinna worked for several diverse companies both large and small with over 20 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Engineering organizations with extensive experience operating as a liaison between; upper management, the clients, other departments, media and organizations, also includes over 20 years’ experience in planning and
managing Events for very diversified organizations.
One of the outstanding memories of an event that Corinna was involved with was the 1988 Olympics in Calgary, organizing the Book that the Calgary Sun put together with photos, interviews etc., working with Eddy the Eagle and the Jamaican Bobsled Team was an experience itself . She was the contact in Marketing in the Promotions Department as an ambassador for over 6 years on a part-time basis as she had a full time day job. At this time she was also a Calgary Stampede Cheerleader as The Calgary Sun was a sponsor of the Calgary Cheerleading Team. Go Stamps GO!!!
Corinna is a native Calgarian and is very involved in her Community. She is an active member of 2 nonprofit organizations, Eco Village of Hopes past Marketing Director - EVHS focuses its efforts on orphaned, abandoned and ostracized children in China providing nutrition, health care and education while enhancing their living conditions through the use of environmentally responsible
practices . She is also a board member of Elevate a Women's Progress Club a dynamic group of women in Calgary committed to strong involvement and committed to serving the community of Calgary through dedicated fundraising efforts, the club generates resources for strategic, long-term programs designed to elevate families beyond poverty. Corinna is a strong member of The United
Way as a volunteer and was previous a rep for her past companies in the social clubs.
Some of Corinna’s past times are golfing, water & snow skiing, hiking, travelling, music festivals, football and hockey games.
